Registered INCEIF members are allowed to visit the respective libraries and browse the open access collection. All borrowing must be conducted through the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services. The student card is required for entrance.



Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia)

Bank Negara Malaysia (the Central Bank of Malaysia), is a statutory body which started operations on 26 January 1959. Bank Negara Malaysia is governed by the Central Bank of Malaysia Act 2009. The role of Bank Negara Malaysia is to promote monetary and financial stability. This is aimed at providing a conducive environment for the sustainable growth of the Malaysian economy.


Securities Commission Malaysia

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) was established under the Securities Commission Act of 1993. It is a self-funding statutory body with investigative and enforcement powers. It reports to the Minister of Finance and its accounts are tabled in Parliament annually. The SC’s many regulatory functions include: supervising exchanges, clearing houses and central depositories; registering authority for prospectuses of corporations other than unlisted recreational clubs; and approving authority for corporate bond issues.

Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers


The Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB) was established in 1977 as the professional educational body for the banking and financial services industry in Malaysia. The AICB is governed by a council of representatives from Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia), the Association of Banks in Malaysia, the Association of Finance Companies of Malaysia and the Malaysian Investment Banking Association.





The IBFIM is an industry-owned institute dedicated to producing well-trained, highly competent personnel and executives with the required talent in the Islamic finance industry.
